Ken brings over 25 years of technology leadership experience to CuePath across a diverse range of technology companies. He has served in COO and VP roles across multiple industries with a passion for transforming and leading change within organizations. He has held leadership roles in companies such as DEES Communications prior to the sale to Israeli NICE Systems (NASDAQ: NICE), TIR Systems prior to sale to Philips, Wolf Medical Systems prior to sale to TELUS Health (TSX: TLU), as well as multiple high growth companies. Ken holds multiple diplomas from BCIT (Electrical Engineering Tech and Operations Management) and the SFU Exec Business Development Program. In his off hours, he loves cooking for friends and family, and traveling the world to explore new cultures.

Bruce Nunn
Bruce NunnVP, Business Development & Marketing

Bruce is a sales and marketing executive with more than 25 years of experience. As Director of Business Development & Marketing at CuePath Innovation, he is responsible for revenue growth and management of distribution channel partners. Prior to joining CuePath, Bruce was VP of Sales & Marketing at Softrak Systems. As VP of Marketing at Absolute Software, Bruce was instrumental in helping the company transition from pre-revenue start-up to established leader in its software category in North America. Earlier in his career, Bruce was Product Manager at Computer Associates (now CA Technologies), and guided the product strategies for best-selling retail accounting products.

John Weger
John WegerVP, Strategy, Product & IP

John has more than 20 years of leadership experience in operations, program and product management with a focus on technology solutions for healthcare. Before joining CuePath, John was Director of Health Business Consulting at TELUS Health, where he was responsible for managing innovation projects designed to accelerate TELUS’s growth in the healthcare technology market.  He launched his career as a senior manager of client services for Wolf Medical Systems, later acquired by TELUS.  He understands the challenges of driving innovation in a complex system and is passionate about the potential for technology to improve the quality of healthcare.

Dr. Margaret Lu
Dr. Margaret LuHead Pharmacist

Margaret worked as a clinical and operations long-term care pharmacist before joining CuePath. She served facilities that specialized in elder care, memory care, mental health and addictions. She has experience in medication management, medication safety, quality improvement, clinical services, regulatory compliance, geriatrics, and mental health. Margaret obtained her Doctorate in Pharmacy from University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Science at McGill University. She is passionate about advancing health equity and health span through technology and personalized medicine. In her spare time, she bikes, does acrobatics, and writes games around her neighborhood in Seattle.

Sharon Shi
Sharon ShiVP, Finance

Sharon Shi is a CPA / CGA with a Master’s degree in Enterprise Management. Having worked for a top insurance brokerage company for 9 years and a technology and innovation driven start-up for 3 years, she has developed business acumen and core skills in budgeting, financial analysis and reporting, SR&ED, along with expertise in system conversion and multiple computer applications. Outside of her professional life, she can always be found enjoying Vancouver’s mountains, lakes, and ocean as well as badminton courts.

Wayne Fraser

Customer experience has been Wayne’s professional dedication over the last 25 years. Leading technology and service teams, Wayne has created exceptional customer experiences through the delivery of technology and professional services. Serving in senior leadership roles in a range of industries, Wayne has helped build and grow service, product and technology enterprises based on a customer-first strategy. Wayne’s passion for people and innovation has been his compass during his professional life. A favorite passion of Wayne’s is to serve on the Board of Governors of non-profit and community services organizations, including the century-old Rotary Club of Vancouver. Wayne holds certificates and degrees with studies in Operations Management, Business, and Change Management. In his spare time, you will find Wayne in the outdoors, camping and hiking.

Daisy Lee
Daisy LeeVP, Global Manufacturing

Daisy brings over 20 years of leadership experience in Operations and Project Management to CuePath. She is passionate about team engagement, outcome driven solutions and process efficiency. Her experience includes roles in a range of companies and industries including Philips Lighting, TELUS Health and BC Liquor Board. She has travelled around the world, building relationships and supply chains. She is active in her community and an executive member of a provincial sport organization. Outside of work she enjoys sports and quality time with her husband and 2 young sons.

Varun Bhalla
Varun BhallaPartner Services Manager

As the Partner Services Manager, Varun helps CuePath’s partner organizations to achieve mutual business goals and milestones. He brings 10 years of experience in international channel development and partnership management across biotech, healthtech, and agritech sectors. He is passionate about leveraging data and analytics to drive business decisions and has led market penetration and revenue diversification in key regions of Asia-Pacific, EMEA, and the Americas. Varun holds a Professional Diploma in Data Science, a Master of Management from University of British Columbia, and a Bachelor of Science from University of Victoria. In his spare time, you will find Varun either experimenting with food in his kitchen or taking tutorials on YouTube to become a better rhythm guitarist.

In addition to her current role as Founder & CEO of Herstasis Health, she is currently the Executive
Board Chair of CuePath Innovation, and was previously Director and Compensation Committee Chair of
Acuva Technologies, and Director and COO of Cryologistics Refrigeration Technologies.

Jennifer has an angel portfolio of 7 BC-based clean technology and health companies and is the sole
investor in Herstasis at this time. In the non-profit realm, Jennifer currently serves as an NSERC-I2I Grant
Funding Review Committee member, and is a member of the UNICEF Canada Women UNlimited
philanthropy program. She has previously served as an Executive-in-Residence at
entrepreneurship@UBC, SFU’s Venture Connection and Foresight Cleantech Accelerator.

Geof Auchinleck

Geof has 40+ years of experience with medical device start-ups. He has worked on surgical robotics, joint implants, minimally invasive surgery, lab automation and blood transfusion management. Most recently he co-founded Claris Healthcare to develop a platform for the delivery of care into the home – including social isolation prevention, remote patient monitoring and coaching for recovery from surgery. Geof is active in the Vancouver community through Creative Destruction Labs, the Medical Device Development Centre and the boards of several medical device companies.

Kirk Moir

Kirk Moir has more than twenty years of experience developing innovative products and angel investing.  A successful entrepreneur, companies co-founded by Kirk Moir have been recognized by Deloitte as the fastest growing wireless technology provider in Canada and among the fastest growing companies in North America as well as by the BC Technology Industry Association (BCTIA) for excellence in the application of technology.  Kirk has led the conception and deployment of mHealth centric systems for healthcare service providers including the Provinces of BC, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick in Canada as well as the State of Georgia in the United States. Kirk co-founded In Motion Technology which was acquired by Sierra Wireless in 2014.  Prior to co-founding In Motion Technology, Kirk led product marketing for Acterna’s Systems and Software Group in Germantown MD and was chief operating officer for the network management business unit of San Diego based Applied Digital Access prior to its acquisition.  Kirk began his career at Burnaby BC based MPR Teltech.

Aiman Abdel-Malek

Dr. Aiman Abdel-Malek is currently the Executive Chairman, Advisory Board, Thirdwayv Inc., Irvine California. He served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at Insulet Corporation (NASDAQ: Podd) until his retirement in April 2019. From March 2016 to February 2018, he was Insulet’s Senior Vice President, Advanced Technology and Engineering. Under his leadership, Insulet launched the first FDA cleared smartphone controlled tubeless Insulin patch pump in the world- the Omnipod DASH platform-based connected diabetes management products. Prior to joining Insulet, Aiman served as President of Frictionless Life Analytics, Inc., a business development company which enables the growth of start-up ventures focused on secure Internet of Things (IoT) platform healthcare solutions. From 2012 to 2015, he served as Vice President of Engineering at Qualcomm Life, Inc., a mobile healthcare solutions Qualcomm subsidiary. From 1988 to 2012, he held various executive roles at General Electric, including General Manager – Global Services Technology at GE Healthcare where he launched the first GE predictive services offerings. Dr. Abdel-Malek brings over 20 years of experience as a senior executive, leading healthcare business teams to develop break-through technology-based business solutions.

Aiman holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Southern California. He serves as a Board Advisor to Biolinq, Inc (San Diego, CA), CuePath Innovation (British Columbia, Canada), and Cignti Corporation(symbol: Cigniti.BO) as well as the University of Pennsylvania PRECISE Center for Safe AI. He has over 30 patents and publications and is a frequent keynote speaker at various digital healthcare, secure IoT, and mobile digital healthcare forums.

Kevin is a results producing healthcare business development/sales executive with expertise in sales, marketing, operations, managed care, hospice care, senior care and disease management that is confidentially exploring the market.  For the past 19 years, Kevin has successfully fostered an impressive track record of building, training, and leading organizations in the sales and management of multi-million dollar sites, regional and national partnerships, service implementation and deployment and P&L management specific reporting directly to company CEOs and COOs. In his most recent role; Kevin served as Vice President of Strategic Growth with Right At Home Corporation.  He was initially recruited into the organization as Vice President of Field Operations and was quickly promoted by the COO of the organization.
